Thank you for making the 15th Wind-Up/Wine-Down and Music on Tap event held this past November another wonderful success, raising just over $10,000 for the work of the fund!
Currently, the fund is supporting 25 students taking lessons, will be sponsoring the Winter Percussion Camp this month, and is continuing its funding of an Artist in Residence program which helps all the students in the band program at the high school.
The Norwin Play It Forward Fund also supports those students in the orchestra program!
We’d like to recognize our corporate sponsors whose contributions played a large part in making the event a reality:
Highmark Health
Sheetz
Synergy Group, White Oak
Dr. Carla Capozzi
The Carriage Inn
Cleaveland-Price
Main Street Music and Sound
New Crescent Brewing
Norwin Teachers Federal Credit Union
Pittsburgh Dentistry and Implants, Plum
Quatrini Law Group, Greensburg
Albanese, Sinchar, Smith and Company
We’d also like to recognize Bella Terra Winery and Quinn Brewing for our wine and beer tasting stations.
And what would the event be without food from our good friends at Salsa Sam’s Eatery, Cenacolo, Saxon Food Ink, Walnut Grill, Gia Visto, and Sarah Klingensmith.
Plans will be underway soon for the 16th Wind-Up/Wine-Down and Music on Tap for Saturday, November 21, 2026. If you know of a local business who would be interested in supporting the talented students from our local communities of Irwin, North Irwin and North Huntingdon through sponsoring this event, please send an email to norwinpiff@gmail.com with the words, “We’re interested in sponsoring the Wind-Up/Wind-Down!” in the subject line!
Again, our thanks to all those who made this event another successful one!
