The Suite Cafe 2017 once again had many great successes as the previous 7 Suite Cafes have had – the student performers were awesome, the desserts were great, and the evening was enjoyed by those who attended.
With desserts provided once again by Kings Family Restaurants and the Popcorn Bar featuring popcorn from the Pittsburgh Popcorn Company, the evening featured great music performances, as the students of the Norwin Band created their own ensembles to provide the evening’s entertainment. The “Almost Famous” Cake Auction was once again a spirited event, with cakes and desserts from local bakeries auctioned off to the winning bidders between performances.
One of the “behind the scenes” stories was picked up by the local news media, too! At 16, Jordan Bernard, a sophomore at Norwin Senior High School, knows the value of being a man of his word. Jordan learned his family’s trip to Disney World would conflict with the eighth annual Play It Forward Fund Suite Café on May 13 at the high school. Continue with the complete article.
